Maddy with Glasses Notebook

Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post for the Paper Nest Dolls this week. I have chosen to use the gorgeous Maddy With Glasses from the new releases this month and made a cute, little notebook. I kept it fairly simple as I wanted Maddy to be the focus! She has been coloured in with Copics.

You can read more about my notebook here on my blog post

Don't forget our challenge is almost over for this month. Have you entered your card yet?

Hairdresser Ellie!

Hello there! It’s Jane here!

I wanted to share with you a card I made using one of Christine’s gorgeous new releases called Hairdresser Ellie! Isn’t she fab!
Not too sure why I went with green hair! To match the paper I guess!

I found a sewing shears charm in amongst some embellies which I think passes as a pair of hairdressing scissors.  Best not try to trim your fringe with them though!! J

Check out all the new releases here and explore the shop to see all of Christine’s amazing rubber stamp designs!  And don’t forget to enter our monthly Anything Goes Challenge to win a fab prize!

Have a happy crafty day!

Fairy Avery with Gift

Hi Everyone ,
This is my first independent post on the challenge blog so I really hope you like my card. I used this beautiful fairy called Fairy Avery with Gift. She is super cute and a joy to colour.
I kept my card clean and simple I am not really a fussy card maker I love using some embellishments but also love for the art work to do the talking.

This card recipe was very simple I used a A5 scalloped white card blank. Matted with silver mirror board I put some of Kirstie Allsops papers on using a spellbinder oval I cut myself a mat and stuck the coloured doll on the front I used copic's , pro markers and a blender pen to colour then a bit more matting and laying with ribbon to provide what i hope is a interesting look I used some cosmic shimmers shimmer pva glue on the gifts dots for a three d look.

I hope you have been inspired by my post. I  would love if you'd comment below big hugs Sharon xxx
